Pedro Martínez started assisting his father, Nico Martínez, during the legendary Copa del Rey de Vela.
In 2011 he started working in Grupo Santa Monica Sports, where he increased his experience as sports photographer working in events such as the UEFA EURO 2012, HANDBALL 2013, and forming part of the Audi MedCup Circuit team.
In 2012 Pedro and his father created Martinez Studio. Nowadays, as Martinez Studio, they are the official photographers of 52 Super Series, RC44 Class Circuit, and Wally Class.
In 2013 he created the photography and video agency "Yuppic", in Madrid, and covered in 2015 more than 100 events in Spain related with sports, motor, corporate events and congress.
In 2014 Pedro Martínez, together with Jesús Renedo, created Sailing Energy, an studio specialized in olympic sailing photography. They became in 2016 the official photographers of the International Sailing Federation (World Sailing).
Pedro, together with his father Nico, has been in "the top 5" in the most prestigious sailing photography contest “Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image” in 2013 and 2014.
