On the edges of the Cesson-Sévigné expressway (Rennes), you can see the modern building of La Factory, which houses the headquarters of several companies, including subsidiaries of the IDEC Group.
Sails & Rods was asked to design the walls of these offices, all in bricks and transparency.
Here is a summary of the 3 steps:
1/ Validation of the Black & White process to bring to all the photos that would be selected, for the elegant and discreet side,
2/ Selection of compatible photos from the Group's own photo library to dress the walls of offices in Open Space, respecting the specializations of the different departments. Then search for relevant photos for meeting rooms with evocative names of places where the Group is present (Manhattan, Shanghai, Barcelona, Montparnasse, etc.)
3/ Choice of finishes => satin paper laminated on dibond for the rigidity of large formats, framed by an American box in extra thin black aluminum for the industrial and elegant side, in offices. Then direct printing on brushed aluminum for the raw side, with an original artistic touch, in meeting rooms,
No photos from the Sails & Rods website were used in this project!! However, we were able to share our experience of graphic art, the production of prints and make use of our network of urban photographers for the meeting rooms, each time finding images taken in very specific places in the cities concerned. .
