This Hotchkiss 686GS, 3.5l engine, is on its way to win the Rally of Monte Carlo 1950. It is not yet the Col du Turini, but drivers already needed to "play the hoop" on the snow.
Marcel Becquart and Henri Secret composed the crew and made their departure from Portugal, in Largo de Cacilhas more precisely, near Lisbon, to then join Madrid, San Sebastian, Bordeaux, Tours, Reims (junction point), Paris, Nevers, Lyon, Valence, Digne, Grasse and finally Monte-Carlo ... All for a total distance of 3140 km.
