After starting his career in the control of motorway infrastructure works, Olivier leaves major projects to link his two passions as photography and the sea, on which he regularly goes sailing and windsurfing.
Over the experiments, he obtained his first releases and widens its scope to other sports, and other areas closest to events organisation and news.
Olivier comes to partners wishing to highlight their brand, magazine or event.
He is also part of the official photographer's team for major competitions such as the Vendée Globe and the Transat Jacques Vabre for DPPI picture agency, with which he has worked for over 10 years.
The 7th of September 2014 and after 17 years of construction, the replica of the Marquis de La Fayette frigate, Hermione, left his Rochefort refit form to finally take the sea. In July 1997, the Association Hermione-La Fayette embarked on the reconstruction of the frigate Hermione, vessels over 65 meters, with a canopy of 1,500 m2 over three masts, which, in 1780, allowed La Fayette to join the American insurgents fighting for their independence. After a stop in the port of Pallice following a malfunction of the engines, the frigate resumed sea trials. And so it is off the Ile de Ré before a first output of sluices towards Brittany that this photograph was taken ... with a telephoto. Unlikely and anachronistic composition between the two navies, between two giants of the oceans among whom a small ship seems willing to intervene.
