Take a good look at this Ferrari Dino 156 number 50, wedged between the Lotus 21 Climax of Jim Clark and Innes Ireland. Contrary to appearances, he is the leader of the race and the future winner in front of Gurney and Clark. It's Giancarlo Baghetti. An Italian who became legendary that day by winning his 1st Grand Prix from his first F1 race, on Ferrari moreover.
It was the 1961 French Grand Prix, on the Reims circuit. He will never win anything again, and will become a press photographer in 1968.
